Well, the writing hit a dry spot, but some stuff continues to get done. The big news is that the line art for Dr. Fizz issues 2 and 3 is done and has been sent over to a colorist. I’ve seen the first half or so and it is looking great.

We also have completed a 4 page short set in the Dr. Fizz universe, a ‘Tale from Grand City’ titled ‘The Rental‘. It’s hilarious.

I’ve recently also finally gotten around to doing the last bits necessary for Spook Town issues 3 and 4 to be printed, or be put into digital. I am still not sure if i should even bother with individual Kickstarters for each book or just try a trade paperback type of collection.

In any case, the plan is to get all the books that are otherwise done and just waiting on me to do my part up on Amazon or such ASAP. I will need to check on exclusivity and so on to make sure it’s a good idea, but who knows.

And what else is there…the audiobook. it’s not going so well. I’ve heard the whole thing, and the narrator did a good job, but there is the little bitty part about passing the QA for Audible. It seems there are certain decibel levels and such that need to be working right. And, they are not so far. So, no audiobook as of yet.

The only really active part going on right now is the finishing of ShadoWorlds issues 2 through 4. Two just needs the cover, three is in lettering and post right now (that’s all on me folks), and I just got the final ins on four a week or so ago. Three and four are going to have the ‘greyscale flats’, but ShadoWorlds #4 is in line to be colored after the Fizz books.

And what else…oh yeah, we’ve been published! Mike over at Yeet! Presents was kind enough to include a couple of stories from Moby’s! in their recent issues, including an 8 page ‘Jungle Girl’ adventure (in color!), The Adventures of Jade

So, yeah it’s been a while, but work on the books continues. I’m thinking of doing a few ‘How To’ posts when I can make the time, just guides to little things i have discovered that other comic book makers might or might not know.
