I think I am liking this new blog already. The tagline is “Reviews from the worst of comicdom” and so far there has been a regular serving of Silverwolf titles, so whomever is running this blog obviously knows their shit. It says a lot that the first comic reviewed on the blog was The Eradicators #1.

Fans of Silverwolf or Greater Mercury might enjoy a stroll down memory lane, the reviews are spot on and funny. And observant, too. Check out this quote from the review for Dragon Quest #1:

OH MY FRIGGIN’ GOD, I can’t get through one stupid comic without some ninja garbage. Ninjas were apparently the zombies of 1986″ – Funnybook Follies

Now that’s some good observational skills right there folks. Note to Kris Silver: If your going to start the company again, like this page on your website says, the new ‘in thing’ is Steampunk. Gotta have a steampunk title my friend, just sayin’.

Actually…a steampunk Grips…in Victorian England say…might be interesting…

Below are links to the three Silverwolf reviews (so far):

  1. Crikey! I would actually pay this fellow to never, ever review Victim.

  2. Thanks for the shout out!
Reviewing Crimson Cougar #1 next, but I am willing to take money not to.
Oddly enough, Victim #1 was my devirginizing issue of Slverwolf.
    Scarring…..
